Its Blitz

I dont really have much to say, V festival on saturday, little red in a month. I hope april will be a good month, i really do. My first publication of my photos were in BEAT and INPRESS mag on wednesday, i was very excited :) 

Melbourne Fashion Week

I had the most amazing oppertunity to take photos at the annual L'oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. I will just let the photosspeak for them selves ....

On satuday night i also took some great shots for breakbot at a club in the city, breakbot was just a bit cool. An amazing week really to sum it up.

Incredible weekend

So friday night i had kings of leon, they played amazing although i was a bit pissed off that they didnt play much of there youth and young manhood songs but ohwell it was still lovely being so close to them that you could feel there breath on you! haha

Then on Saturday i had SOUND RELIEF! it was so awesome, because of the massive bushfire tradgedy in Melbourne they put together this big concert to raise money for the victims. I was amazed at the spirit of everyone there and also for the small amount of money we paid to see these incredible acts which may never play agian. I got soooooo wet from the rain but it was all good fun, when ever we happened to be in the moshpit it would start drenching rain and thundering which was a bit scary..... But what an amazing day it was :)

Taper jean girl kills me

So this time tomorrow night, i will be at kings of leon. It really hasnt hit yet that im acuattly going to be seeing Caleb Followil, Nathan Followill, Jared Followill, Matthew Followil. I have so much respect for these guys and would say they are one of my all time favourtie bands. I find it hard to say that these days unfourtuntly as people just link kings of leon to there new album "only by the night" which has hit the mainstream pop market. I feel like i have been betrayed in a way as i listened to them from the very start a few years back when they released "Youth and Young Manhood". The beautiful sounds of Caleb soothing voice lead the band and who could forgot the grungy sounds of the guitar and the bold drums.

Now a days, Kings of leon are know for that dreadfull song "sex on fire". This is one of the most played songs now, especailly on Commerical mainstream radio stations. Little tween boopers of only 10 years of age listen to them and only the latest album. When people ask me if i know kings of leon i just think to myself how much i want to punch this person as i have loved them from the very start.
